Exotic Quan Lan Island (3 days)
Trip Code: QLI

DAY 1 — Hanoi - Quan Lan Island
Departing Hanoi, you will then take a local bus to Halong City. After arriving in Halong City, you will have time for a local lunch before boarding the ferry to Quan Lan Island. On board the ferry you have the opportunity to take in the breathtaking scenery during the 4½ hour journey. Upon arrival at Quan Lan Island, a ‘xe lam’ (Vietnamese tuk tuk) will take you to your bungalow on the beach. It is then free time to chill, read, or take a walk along the beach.

DAY 2 — Qan Lan Island
For those who are keen photographers, you may wish to wake up early to see the local people catching sea worms (Sa Sung), which is considered a delicacy on Quan Lan Island. After breakfast your guide will organise a xe lam to take you around the island. The remoteness and untouched scenery is a look back into how Vietnam was before wide-scale tourism changed some of the more frequented places. The afternoon is at your leisure.

DAY 3 — Quan Lan Island - Hanoi
A refreshingly bright and early start to the day to catch the ferry back to Halong City. On arrival your guide will take you to a local restaurant before your local bus ride back to Hanoi.
